When I was a kid, we had to learn this Joyce Kilmer poem for an Earth Day celebration. It goes like this:

I think that I shall never see,
A poem lovely as a tree.

A tree whose hungry mouth is pressed
Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;

A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in Summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.

There's not much I can add to describe how I feel about trees. Take a look at my tree coloring pages and see if something meets your fancy.

How to Print These Free Printables

1. First things first...you need to print your favorite coloring page(s) out. Just place your cursor on any of the pictures above and click. This takes you to the full-sized drawing. Some of our coloring pages are in pdf format, so you're good to go for printing. In the case of a jpg file, Explorer and Firefox users should look in the upper left hand corner of your screen where you'll see "File". Click here and choose the print option. Google Chrome users need to click on the "wrench" icon in the far right corner and choose "Print". Hope that covers.

2. All of our coloring sheets can also be made into flashcards. Reduce the size of the image and laminate. Teach young children about different kinds of trees and their importance to the environment.

3. Make smaller cards and use in games such as dominoes, memory game and "Go Fish".

4. Inspire your kids to draw their own tree coloring pages. Our cartoon style makes it fun for kids to fire up their imaginations and express themselves as budding artists!
