My trips to the zoo always include a long visit to watch the giraffes. They're so elegant and I love the fact that they often just stare back at you. It's been a while since I last went to our local "Safari", but I still can remember the impression these animals made on me. Take a look at my giraffe coloring pages and see for yourselves!

Did you know that the giraffe is the largest land animal? Both the giraffe's neck and its four legs are all about 6 feet in length. That's pretty tall.

To give you an idea of just how tall, the giraffe could look into a second story window with no problem at all! Giraffes also love eating the leaves of the acacia tree. They consume about 75 pounds of leaves per day!
