A Little Bit About Us

Hi! My name's Omri and I'd like to welcome you to my Easy Coloring Pages.com website. While I never feel comfortable talking about myself, I've been told that these pages are a "must" on every site, so I'll do my best to introduce myself.



















Some people were born with a silver spoon in their mouths, but I guess you could say that I was born with a drawing pencil in my hand. As my mom would have everyone believe, (including me) I've been drawing from about the age of 2. "Legend has it" that while out on the playground, I took a stick, drew a house in the sand, and simply stated, "House." Everyone there was pretty amazed, and I've been drawing ever since.

And just to back up my mother's claims, here are a couple of my earliest drawings.

My parents always made sure there was plenty of paper, pencils, markers and crayons in supply and I have to admit that I'm not fussy about materials. Give me a pencil and a sheet of A4, and I'm ready to go.

As I got older, I studied art in high school and eventually made my way to the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art in Dover, New Jersey. There I learned the ins and outs of sequential and cartoon art.

Today, you'll find me drawing cartoon coloring pages for this site, making invitations for parties and events and designing T-shirt art.

The idea for this website actually started with my mom. She was determined to remove the adjective "starving" from my moniker, "Starving Artist". She had collaborated with my sister and me on a site called Easy Child Crafts.com and when the coloring page section over there got too big, she suggested that we branch out and develop a new site. I bought into the idea (really, it pays to listen to your mom....sometimes). She does all the "behind the scenes" stuff and I just take pen to paper.

I think that's about it. If this was a conversation, here would be the part where I would say, "Okay...enough about me....now tell me all about you!"
